The RFIMVB (Railway Vibration Measurement System) is a dynamic measurement system of railway vibrations during the convoys transit, used for a test campaign on the high-speed railway line.
The RFIMVB is made up of an electronic unit, which acquires the vibration signals from triaxial acceleration sensors during the convoys transit on railway. The signals are subsequently processed in order to analyze the dynamic characteristics of the rail/sleeper/ballast system, in terms of FFT frequency spectra and transmissibility between the various elements.
